If you are a man, guy, boy, etc. OR is just confused to what the hell you are. Enjoy reading this, & to all the ladies, this is for you ;]

Men men men, constant battles with men. How can we endure them? Yesterday & the day before, I've witnessed the heartbreaks of my two most beloved sisters as their boyfriends tore their hearts apart. Struggles, cries, frustration, anger, lost of respect, and just those itty bitty lil' irritating phrases. I surely know how they feel as to how hard I try to comfort them because I'VE been through that struggle. I'VE been through that! & we all have right ladies? Surely, as you all know the famous quote, "Behind every beautiful girl, there's a screwed up guy who did her wrong, but made her strong." I simply didn't believe this until now. Guys are so selfish, but I didn't say girls aren't. All I'm saying is, part of the reason that men seem so much less loving than women is that men's behavior is measured with a feminine ruler. I mean, men lose more conquests by their own awkwardness than by any virtue in the woman. Hook-ups to break-ups to make-ups. It's a continous cycle that we all witness in our lifetime. Then, without realizing it, you try to improve yourself at the start of each new day; of course, you achieve quite a lot in the course of time. Anyone can do this, it costs nothing and is certainly very helpful. Whoever doesn't know it must learn and find by experience that a quiet conscience makes one strong. You build up this armor to protect yourself, but then as you're right on track, all of a sudden, one guy from all the stupid guys wanders into your life. He makes you so vulnerable as he opens you up and it means he can mess you up. & you give him a piece of you. He gets inside you. As he does, it eats you up and leaves you crying in the darkness, so a simple phrase like maybe "we should just be friends" or how every perceptive turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart! It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a body-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart hurt. We as woman grieve for things, but we do rejoice them as well. Of course, men aren't all the same. Neither are women.

But we all know, before success comes in any man’s life, he’s sure to meet with much temporary defeat and, perhaps some failures. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and the most logical thing to do is to quit. That’s exactly what the majority of men do and that's exactly what shows how men are weak. I'd say God gave men both a penis and a brain, but unfortunately not enough blood supply to run both at the same time! Hah. Men, Men, Men, they easily come, but yet they easily go, what's hard is finding someone worth keeping. We're lucky enough to have such a man.

In all, to all you so called "men", You can only push a girl away for so long until she walks out of your life on her own. So be careful and make sure this is what you want. Because once she turns around, she isn't coming back.

& to all my ladies, this is not the end. we have more to accomplish for sucess is not final, failure is not fatal, it is courage to continue that counts. Women will always be dominant. Duh ;]

Self Explanatory.

All my life I had been looking for something, and everywhere I've turned, someone tried to tell me what it was. I accepted their answers too, though they were often in contradiction and even self-contradictory. I was naïve. I was looking for myself and asking everyone except myself questions which I, and only I, could answer. It took me a long time and much painful boomeranging of my expectations to achieve a realization everyone else appears to have been born with: that I am nobody but myself.

Ain't no one can phase me ;]

We are so accustomed to disguise ourselves to others that we become disguised to ourselves. While most guys act like dogs, girls love to act like one another. The next chapter in life is to be independent, follow your own instincts, taste, style, etc etc. Being said, the most important thing for 3 out of 7 people is to please others. By all means, it means trying to be like the one person they think is so "known". It's alright to be known, but what exactly would you be known for?

It has said to be that many of you are known for nothing. Being talked about, having your name said by people who don't even know you, having the best style, or even being the diva or hustla' doesn't necessarily mean you're poplular & that everyone admires you. Sure, they think you're cool but you can never make a huge impact on their lives or maybe even your own. Having this said, no one appreciates the hard-working individuals who bust their asses everyday. Who pushes themselves to the limit, and you pathetic bitches get all the attention. We've got a reason to go to school or work everyday, & that doesn't mean come & sit your ass in a chair just tryna look good for everyone else. Tryna' act. What a waste of breath, time, and respect.

This being said, always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else.

Please, we don't have enough space to accompany your bullshit!
Get it? Got it? GOOOOOOD.

Imitation is a state of mind.

Everyone seems to thrive on looking like her, him, or the skinny model from vogue magazine. To dress, speak, walk, and possibly, look like that person! We all are created equal, but that doesn't mean we all have to copy each other. Girls and even guys don't see this because they're too focused on what's in front of them. Too focused that they have to be something or someone else just to recieve people's attention and affection.

Nothing is original. We steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels our imagination. Don't you think? We devour old films, new films, books, music, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, nature, light, and even shadows. Everyone thinks they're better than everyone else at one point but we all know we ain't. Select only things to take from, that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, then your work is authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don't bother concealing it, celebrate it if you have to. You can't hide it. BUT in any case, remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: "It's not where you take things from- it's where you take them to."

After you've done this, then you're truly what you say, one of a kind.

La Isla Bonita.

A term used for beautiful island and you've guessed it, my mind wanders off to Hawaii. Funny thing is, every so often we'd wish we were off that rock and seeing some new places for once but since my move up here, I've realized how much I miss HI! It's only been about 2 months, and already I'm going crazy. Living in Fairbanks, Alaska is 'aight but heck, I wonder what the hell do people do up here?! Of course, there's the occasional shopping malls, movies theaters, hangouts, & whatever but it's nothing like Hawaii I tell ya' This place is whack if ya' ask me. Hawaii is the place to be. It's home, home to where my heart lies, home to where the sun shines bright & the weather is nice & warm, home to where there's long beautiful stretches of beaches, home to where the waves crashes against the rocks, home to where there's a variety of rich cultural heritages, home to where asians get along with ploynesians, <-- haha yeah even that. Just home, to where I belong. I know, that it'll probably be a long time 'til I'm back home again but note this, I'll be back, I'll be back someday, you'll see ;]
